Clarity is an international jazz string quartet pushing the boundaries of the classical string tradition. With roots in Andalusia (Ángela Varo – violin), Seoul (Soo Choi – violin), Spokane, WA (Drew Keeve – viola), and Catalonia (Queralt Giralt Soler – cello), we bring together influences from jazz, Romani music, flamenco, Americana, classical, Brazilian, and Catalonian traditions. Through original compositions and innovative arrangements, we reimagine the quartet as a jazz rhythm section by blending improvisation, composition, and lyricism into a unique collective sound.
